Portia's gaze instinctively shifted to Zachary when he spoke. She noticed his calm expression when hearing that Steven couldn't have more children.

Portia couldn't help but feel concerned and asked, "Do you hate him?"

Zachary had become comfortable with them and didn't hide his true feelings. "Yes, I do. If he hadn't constantly dragged me along to be with Jessica, I wouldn't have ended up being abandoned by my mom, would I? I'd probably still be living happily with her right now."

He took a deep breath and continued, "So, do you think I shouldn't hate him?"

Harry responded without hesitation, "Of course you should!"

Steven was an adult, yet he involved Zachary in his misdeeds and ended up abandoning his child. Harry felt disgusted just thinking about it. If Steven were his father, he would have beaten him up by now.

Zachary's expression finally softened.

Portia held his hand and said, "I understand how you feel. However, please don't act rashly to get revenge on them. You've already gone down the wrong path before. I hope your life will be more peaceful from now on."

Zachary's face relaxed, and he smiled, saying, "Don't worry. I'm not that foolish, Grandma. I can't waste my time on them. I just want to study hard, earn money, and try to achieve my dreams as soon as possible."

Portia happily asked, "What's your dream?"
