Felix stood at the entrance of an alley at around 7:00 pm with a confused look. 

He stood at the location Sasha had given him, but no matter how much he looked around, the place didn’t seem like there would be a restaurant there.

“Is the restaurant here?” Felix asked. 

Sasha answered with a smile, “Yes, there’s a fondue restaurant here that’s been around for years. The food is really good.” 

Fondue? Felix wasn’t going to question it. It didn’t matter what they ate. He’d be gratef as long as Sasha would stop bothering him. 

As they turned the corner into the alley, the fragrant aroma of food hit them, instantly increasing his appetite. 

There was indeed a fondue restaurant nestled in the alley. There was even a line of people waiting to be seated at the entrance. 

“Don’t we need to line up?” Felix was puzzled when he saw Sasha walk right in. 

“No need. I’ve known the owner for a long time and reserved a table ahead of time.” 

The restaurant was small and was run by a couple in their 40s. The husband worked in the kitchen, and the wife handled the front. Their roles were well–defined. 

After sitting down, Sasha smiled sweetly. 

“I couldn’t decide where to go for our last meal together, so I thought of sharing this place with you, Felix.” 

“Thanks.” 

If it were anyone else who didn’t know of her past, they might genuinely fall for her act. 

When the food was served, the rich aroma filled the air. Even Felix couldn’t resist taking a 

bite.

Just as he was about to take another bite, a group of about a dozen men dressed in black stormed into the small restaurant, making the already cramped space even more crowded.
