Felix didn’t give Sasha’s behavior much thought. 

After all, Sasha was used to being pampered by Nattie, and with this being a sort of farewell, she was likely in a bad mood. Felix thought it was only natural for her to be a bit temperamental. 

“It seems you two prefer to suffer the consequences rather than do things the easy way. 

The men in black surrounded them, and Felix raised his hand.

“Guys, running a small business isn’t easy for these folks. If you have any problems with me, let’s settle them outside.” 

Seeing Felix head outside, Sasha breathed a sigh of relief. He had finally taken the bait. 

Just now, she had acted out of desperation. It would have been a big problem if Felix had truly abandoned her. Thankfully, everything was back on track. 

There were only a dozen or so bodyguards. It also seemed like their employer hadn’t shown up yet. 

Since Felix didn’t want to cause trouble, he suggested, “How about you let us finish our meal first, and we’ll leave right after?” 

“Heh, isn’t your sister pretty tough? You want to back down now? It’s too late!” 

After a brief scuffle, all the bodyguards were now lying on the ground, groaning in pain. The restaurant owners were quite shocked by the sight. 

“Let’s go.” Felix signaled to Sasha before paying for their meal and leaving. 

As they turned a corner, a woman in a form–fitting white jumpsuit and a middle–aged man was walking toward them. 

The way the woman was walking was dignified, and her long hair swayed rhythmically. She had an outstanding figure but a plain face that did not fit the aura she had. 

“A deal’s a deal. Don’t come looking for me again. Don’t worry about what just happened. They’ll come after me instead of you if they want revenge.” 

Sasha lowered her head. “I’m sorry for causing trouble during our last meal together, Felix.

“It’s fine. I’m leaving now. Be sure to keep your promise.” 

As Felix walked away, Sasha smiled slightly. Just as she was about to take out her phone, Ted suddenly appeared beside her. 

“Mr. Glover, does this mean it worked?”
