Felix nodded. “Because of this, I’ll give you another chance. It’s up to what your sister chooses to do after that.” 

His sister? Sam’s smile vanished. How dare such filthy trash like Felix bring up Dora? Did he really think that he could start spouting nonsense just because he had heard something from Kane? 

“Give me another chance? You’ve got the nerve! Although Nora’s just one of my toys, I absolutely do not allow anyone else to touch her before I’m done playing with her. 

“But really, I’m surprised that you’d actually give a slut like her five million dollars cash. Is she even worth that much?” 

Sam had been thoroughly shocked when he saw all the cash at the hotel that day. Sure, he was filthy rich, and five million dollars was just another figure to him. But that was the first time he had seen it in cash form. 

“I’ve already told you that it was a misunderstanding. I gave her five million dollars in exchange for some information. Can we end things here now?” Felix sighed. 

Sam waved his hands and sat in the chair his henchmen brought for him. “Begin now!” 

Seeing this, Felix took a step forward, and something creepy immediately happened. Every one of Sam’s henchmen suddenly rolled their eyes to the top of their heads and fell to the ground as if they were mass possessed.

Back at Kane’s manor, Sam slowly opened his eyes. 

“Call your sister, Dora Clarkson.” 

Sam was shocked. He turned around and saw Felix sitting in the yard, barbecuing some meat. It felt eerily out of place for some reason. 

Sam then turned to the other side and saw that Kane was also there. He was in the midst of skewering the meat for the barbecue. Everything was just unbelievable. 

“Lord Kane! What is the meaning of this? Do you not recognize who I am?” Sam shouted. 

Kane didn’t even spare Sam a glance. Without looking up from his meat, Kane replied, ” Don’t ask me, ask Mr. Zeller. He’s the one you offended. You’d better do as he says.” 

Fuck, so this Felix guy really had ties to Kane after all? 

“Call Dora and tell her that you offended me. She’ll know what to do. Of course, my hunch
