“How about this–I’ll sleep with you for a night, and you let my brother go?” Dora offered. 

Sam’s jaw dropped open. He felt once more just how terrifying Felix must be for Dora to offer up her body to him like this. Most importantly, he could see the anxiety and desperation in her eyes. He didn’t know what to think anymore. 

“Jack Graham is a manager from this company. He’s a good friend of mine. The Clarksons have a lot of resources to go around, right? It shouldn’t be a problem for you to collaborate with them on something, right?” Felix asked while handing Dora a business card. 

Was that all? Dora took the business card from Felix’s hand and blinked at him in 

confusion. 

“Are you sure you really don’t want to punish me hard in bed for what my brother did to you?” 

Felix was rendered speechless. He was too lazy to reply to her, so he just waved her off. 

It wasn’t until Sam had left the premises and gotten into Dora’s car that he finally dared to speak up. “Dora, how did you and Mr. Zeller get to know each other? Why are you treating him like this?” 

A hard smack landed at the back of Sam’s head as Dora yelled at him. “Didn’t I tell you to stop being so cocky and learn to read the room? Why must you always land yourself into sticky situations like these? 

“I don’t know what else Mr. Zeller is hiding from me. Did you really think I’d offer myself up if he only had his martial arts skills? 

“I’m bringing you back home now and putting you under the protection of all the other martial arts masters within the family. Killing you would be as easy as crushing an ant for him!” 

Sam didn’t dare to speak anymore. He was extremely grateful then that he had let Warren and Sasha go earlier. Otherwise, he wouldn’t even have had a second chance. 

After Felix was done eating his barbecued meat skewers, he returned to Tabiner Bay. As for Kane’s manor–if Kane really were to ascend the ranks and be the next chief, he would be a lot busier running around Dragonia.

Xena didn’t bother beating around the bush and took out her iPad. Then, she tapped on the screen to play the security camera footage from the hotel. 

In the video, Xena had dragged Felix out of the elevator. However, just before the doors closed behind him, Felix’s wrist suddenly trembled. 

The movement was so quick that the video speed had to be slowed down many times before it could be seen.
