“Felix, come with me. I’ll introduce you to some people who could be useful to you later.” The moment Warren saw Felix, he almost dragged him away immediately. 

“Uncle Warren, thank you for your good intentions, but I have my own approach. I’m really not that keen on this,” Felix replied. 

Warren smiled and patted Felix on the shoulder. “Alright. I guess I was being too eager. Go ahead with Sasha and get to know some of the younger folks.” 

“Okay,” Felix responded. 

After Warren left, Sasha’s expression turned icy. “Don’t expect me to show you around.” 

Felix said nothing and headed to a corner. He planned to grab something to eat and then call Wendy. 

If he hadn’t given prior instructions, Wendy would have already been at the entrance to greet him personally. He didn’t want Sasha to see the other side of him. After all, he wouldn’t need to keep up the act much longer. 

Meanwhile, Sasha approached Hugo. She looked a bit nervous. “Hugo, do you remember me? I was also at Ivan’s barbecue party that day.” 

Hugo furrowed his brows, obviously unhappy about being disturbed. “What do you want?” 

With that, he displayed a look of disdain. Anyone with a bit of sense could tell he was trying to dismiss her. 

Sasha noticed that, too, but she still mustered the courage to continue, “Hugo, do you remember the guy named Felix who pretended to know Ms. Kinsley? I don’t know why, but Ivan didn’t deal with him, and he somehow made it to the banquet.” 

Hearing that, Hugo’s expression changed. He hadn’t anticipated Ivan to be so unreliable in handling things. 

“Where is he? Take me to him.” He thought that since Felix was there, it was only right to teach him a lesson. 

After all, Hugo didn’t need to lift a finger to deal with most people. His mere presence was enough to terrify them. 

“Hugo, please come with me. By the way, Felix was brought in by my dad and has nothing to do with Ms. Kinsley,” Sasha explained, fearing Hugo might get the wrong idea. 

Unbeknownst to her, Hugo didn’t consider that at all. He believed that someone so trivial, who was scored even by Sasha’s circle, had no standing with Wendy, let alone being invited to the banquet. 

While Felix was having ice cream in the corner, he saw Sasha leading a young man toward him. He figured that had to be her real purpose for bringing him to the banquet, 

Sasha remarked, “Felix! I warned you not to cheat and deceive. Now, it seems the consequences are here. This is Hugo, a renowned scion from Avesburgh.” 

Just as Sasha was ready to watch the show and see what Hugo would do, she heard no sound at all. She quickly turned around and found Hugo staring at Felix intently. 

“Do we know each other?” Felix asked, which brought Hugo back to reality. 

Hugo smiled and replied, “No, but we’ve met before. At the Sunrise Bids auction, we were botti bidding for Bluesand.” 

Felix acknowledged with a nod. “Is there anything else you need?”
