Xena glanced at Felix with a complex expression. 

“Please wait in the yard. My people need to search your villa. Don’t worry. We won’t mess up the place,” she said. 

“Okay.” Felix nodded. 

When Belle emerged from the villa with her team, Xena left with just a glance. However, before departing, she said, “Sorry for the trouble.” 

Felix was surprised. It was a miracle that this woman could maintain such a good attitude in front of him. 

The child had already been sent to the hospital, and her parents were notified. Xena and Belle then drove toward the Phoenix Legion headquarters. 

Most of their personnel had been dispatched throughout Avesburgh to search for Nocturno, although they knew the chances of finding him were slim. 

But one question lingered. 

Why had Nocturno suddenly abandoned the child and not killed Felix, who was also sleeping in the villa? This was completely out of character for Nocturno. He was known to be brutal, which was why he was classified as a Super S -rank wanted criminal. 

“Milady, there’s no sign of Nocturno in the villa, and there are no traces of a struggle,” Belle reported. 

Xena nodded, then asked, “Did Felix purchase that villa himself?” 

Belle was taken aback. She couldn’t help but wonder if Felix’s finances were more important than Nocturno’s whereabouts. 

“I’ll have someone check right away,” she said. 

Just as she finished speaking, her phone rang. Belle’s expression turned to shock after listening. 

“Milady! We found Nocturno’s body in the woods near Tabiner Bay,” she exclaimed. 

Xena’s eyes immediately sharpened as she demanded, “Let’s go!” 

Upon arriving at the woods, someone quickly reported the situation. 

“Milady, it’s Nocturno. There are no external injuries, but his heart has been completely shattered. This was the work of a martial arts master. It seems Nocturno didn’t even have a chance to fight back.” 

“This also explained why the child had come out of Felix’s villa unharmed–Nocturno was dead, so there was no way anything could have gone wrong,” Xena thought, before saying, “Who could have done this?” 

Rubbing her chin, Xena searched her mind for relevant information but found nothing until Belle spoke up. 

She said, “Could it be Felix? Remember the last incident? We confirmed he’s also a martial artist.” 

Instantly, Xena scoffed. 

“Felix? You’ve got to be kidding! Nocturno is a Super S–rank wanted criminal. Even I don’t have absolute confidence in taking him down, so how could Felix possibly do it? 

“Moreover, Nocturno’s death indicates he was killed instantly. If Felix had that power, why would he settle for
