Yvette’s phone buzzed during the drive. She answered the phone on Bluetooth.

Yvette furrowed her brows, looking troubled. “But Margaret, I can’t make it.” 

“What’s more important than meeting Mrs. Walsh? You knew she could help put in a good word. It’ll help immensely with that business deal! I dropped you the location. Just come now.” 

A thought struck Margaret Holmes. She added, “By the way, I nearly forgot that Ronald told me about your nephew, Felix. Bring him along. Ronald’s on his way. Having two young men at the table might help lighten the mood.‘ 

Then, Margaret hung up with an air of authority 

“Aunt Yvette, feel free to leave if you need to. I’ll only travel home tomorrow,” Felix said. 

She glanced at Felix and came to a decision. “Felix, come with me. Shaun is respected in the family, but his older brother, Nathaniel, is the one who has the final say. 

“It’s good for you to meet with Margaret so I would have a better excuse if I need to ask her for favors.” 

Felix knew that Yvette’s suggestion came from a good place, but he was in no mood to entertain the Sullivans. “I’m good, Aunt Yvette. Really.” 

“Do not turn me down! I’ve married a powerful guy, and you are my only flesh and blood. Of course I will help you out! Just do as I say.
