What choice did he have? If not this way, Felix would kill him, so he might as well try survive. Before coming, he had assumed Felix was mid–Blood Realm at most, and as a Blood Realm master two minor realms higher, killing him would not be an issue.

Selmer sighed in relief–his life was saved.
