“Milady, I think what Jordan said is right. Felix must have gotten this Grimflower by luck,” said Belle. 

A while later, Xena sighed. “Regardless, it’s undeniable that Felix has helped me this time. Belle, please arrange a slot in my schedule. I’m going to buy Felix a meal as a token of my gratitude.” 

Jordan sighed in relief, thinking it was fine for Xena to buy Felix a meal. He felt someone of Felix’s caliber couldn’t compare to him. Because of that, he believed they would be in serious trouble if Xena believed Felix’s medical skills were superior to Wesley’s. 

Meanwhile, Felix had returned to his villa in Tabiner Bay. He had just arrived when he saw Sasha standing at the entrance to his property. 

“Felix,” she greeted. 

“What are you doing here? We no longer have anything to do with each other.” 

Sasha bit her lower lip, seeming to have predicted this outcome. “I’m sorry, Felix. I was being too haughty before. I swear, I’m not approaching you because you and Lord Kane are related. I’m doing it because you saved my life twice.” 

She gave a pleasant excuse, but would Felix believe her? 

“If that’s what you truly think in your heart, don’t come looking for me for a month. I may reconsider making you my friend again after the month is up.” It was merely a delaying strategy. 

Felix wasn’t entirely sure whether he would still be in Avesburgh in a month. 

As expected, Sasha agreed to it. 

“Alright, Felix. I promise I won’t seek you out anymore for one month.” Sasha had no choice but to agree since she had cut off all her chances with Felix before. It wasn’t going to be easy to regain his trust now. 

Most importantly, Warren had previously slapped Felix and cut off all ties with the latter. Sasha wouldn’t have such a hard time getting back in Felix’s favor if Warren hadn’t done

Felix had just entered his house when he received a call from an unknown number. 

The caller said, “Felix? It’s me, Hugo.” 

Wendy had probably failed to convince Hugo otherwise. After all, this phone call wouldn’t have happened if she had succeeded.

“Is something the matter?” Felix asked. 

“I’ll give you three days to leave Avesburgh. I don’t want to hear any other promises from you. Got it?” 

“What if I refuse to leave?” Felix answered. 

Hugo chuckled. He found Felix truly overbearing for daring to speak arrogantly, even when Felix had seen him bid tens of millions of dollars to purchase the Bluesand herb. 

Wendy was right–there was more to Felix than met the eye. 

Hugo replied, “You’re refusing to leave, huh? Sure. You’ll be getting a surprise from me 

tomorrow.” 

Wealthy heirs like Hugo often hired others to teach their enemies a lesson, which didn’t seem like a big deal to Felix. So, he couldn’t care less about Hugo’s threat. 

Felix wanted to get a quick rest when his doorbell rang again. He felt slightly annoyed, thinking it had to be Sasha again.
