Lenard's heart skipped a beat. "But I had no choice, right, Judson?"

Seeing the pleading look in Lenard's eyes, Judson held Nancy's hand, looking pitiful, "Nancy, I can wait for you at the coffee shop downstairs if you think I'm in the way."

Nancy was speechless.

Growing anxious, Lenard said, "Nancy, Judson's such a looker. If he waits at the coffee shop, others might have an eye on him. You need to take responsibility for him."

Hearing Lenard's words, Baldrick couldn't help but laugh with frustration and was about to speak when Lenard's phone rang.

Lenard glanced at the caller ID and quickly answered, "Mr. Potter, I know. I'm on my way..."

When he hung up, Lenard turned to Nancy with a pleading look. "Nancy."

Lenard quickly snapped out of it and dashed out, leaving only the three of them in the vast office.

Looking at Judson standing beside Nancy, Baldrick grew increasingly irritated. "Nancy, why don't we leave him here and head out to the show?"

She didn't respond to Baldrick but instead looked at Judson, who was on the brink of tears and completely lost. Their eyes locked, and Judson's voice trembled with a hint of panic. "Nancy, I'm fine. I can stay there, too."

Baldrick cursed inwardly, ‘That damn charmer.'

Nancy kept her thoughts to herself, ultimately sighing, "Okay, stay behind me then."
