“He only sold me to the men who raped me”. Ann snapped in and Lorenzo jolted his gaze towards her.

“What?!”. Lorenzo exclaimed as that came unexpectedly to him.

“You told me to tell them that you didn't do that to me right?, and I did”. Ann said innocently and Lorenzo gnash his teeth, knowing fully well that she had just made a fool out of him. She scoffs,”What do you think?. You think I will let you go free just because I'm in love with you or like old days?”. Lorenzo's eyes widened in disbelief, Ann had never refused his demands, so why now.

“Please madam have your seat. Don't be scared because if he makes any wrong move, he will be persecuted to death”.The chief said in a serious tone which scared Lorenzo.

Silver gestured Ann to sit on the chair, facing Lorenzo while she stood behind her.

“Yes''. Ann confirmed with a half smile on her lips, trying to hide the pains in her heart so he wouldn’t think that she’s weak. Lorenzo really hurt her so bad and now it’s time for him to face his punishment. Each time their gaze met, anger swell inside her to the extent that she had to clench her fist to control it.

“Ann''. Lorenzo drawls, he was trying to manipulate her once again but she looked away.
