The Strong Bond novel Chapter 25

Lena let out a little squeal as Damian suddenly lifts her on to the desk they were sitting next to. Before she could comprehend what was going on Damians lips were on hers making her lose all focus. His hands slowly pushed her long dress up so she could wrap her legs around him. The kiss was not passionate either. It was more of a greedy need, and desire to be closer to each other. Both were is a hazy state clearly not caring there were hundreds of people outside, and anyone could walk in on them. Damian began to kiss, and lick from her chin down to her neck as he began to unzip her dress. He wasn't the only one trying to get their mate undress, because Lena was also unbuttoning his dress shirt not wanting to waste any time. As soon as Damian went to pull down the front of her dress, loud commotion from outside broke the hot desire spell they were in.

Lena sat there trying to catch her breath as Damian walked over to the window to see what the noise was. As soon as his eyes landed on the situation he mumbles something to himself quickly turning away.

"Stay here" Damian orders Lena as he buttons his shirt.

"What! Why? What's going on?" Lena panics jumping off the desk readjusting her dress.

"I'll handle it, just stay here" Is all he says in his authority Alpha tone, and leaves the room. Lena wasted no time running to the window to see what the problem was. Looking out the window to see Ashton arguing with Keith over something. But why would they be fighting? She thought to herself as she watched from the window. Soon Damian was by his beta side trying to calm him down, but looked like Ashton wasn't having it. She noticed Keith turning to order someone to do something, and that's when she saw Blair crying. Not wasting anytime, Lena was dashing out of the office and heading back to the party.

Damian walked towards Lena keeping his eyes locked on her. The way he carried himself had everyone unconsciously backing away from him. Only one who didn't show fear towards him was his beautiful mate. Who flushed watching him make his way towards her. Damian knew he wouldn't be able to take over his wolf till he knew his mate was okay. Once he was in front of her he leans his head down nudging her hand away from her ankle with his snout. He was just about to examine the ankle, when there was another growl ripping through the silent crowd.

"This is just great" Lena mumbles to herself. Turning to see who dared growled at him. Lena spoke up again, telling him in a low voice so he was the only one that could hear her. "Behave! Remember no one knows you're my mate. So, Keith's just being a protective Alpha"
