"H-ay, it-it's me" She answers nervously wondering if he wasn't happy that she called him.
Damian froze a second as the smooth innocent voice came ringing in his ears. All the anger and frustration he was feeling moments ago, seem too vanish. She sounded nervous, but why? So many questions were running through his head as Lena sat anxiously on the other end.
"Hello?" She says wondering why he hasn't spoken. That seem to bring Damian back from where ever his thoughts had led him.
"Where are you?" He demanded.
"Um, in my room?" She responded confused.
"I'll be right there" Damian rushed out not bothering waiting for her to reply as he hung up on her.
Lena sat there a few moments staring at her phone like it was a foreign object. She was thrown off, because that phone call did not go like she had thought. She expected that Damian would be more thrilled to hear from her. He said very little to her, well actually he didn't say anything. Just demanded to know where she was. Now he was on his way over there to see her, and she wasn't sure if she should be excited or worried. Lena wasted no time getting out of her bed to see who was still at her house. She quickly steady's herself as a wave of dizziness fell over her, from getting out of her bed to fast. Taking a few deep breaths, she wasted no time walking over to her bedroom door. Quietly she turns the handle slowly pulling it open. The upstairs seemed to be empty, giving her an opportunity to dash to the stairs. She only needed to go at least halfway down the stairs to get a good idea who was there. Her heart was pounding faster at every step she took, causing beads of sweat to form on her forehead. Stopping midway Lena peeked over the railing to see that only her father's office light was on. Meaning her father was still up doing work like he usually does most nights. The rest of the place seemed deserted, and she couldn't smell anyone close by. Sighing in relief, she slowly turns and carefully heads back to her room.
Damian wasted no time after he hung up with Lena to get over to her place. He realized after hanging up with her that he was very curt with her. It was his own fault for not looking at who was calling him first. Then hearing her voice made his wolf come alive with the need to be near her. So just talking on the phone wasn't going to cut it for either of them. He needed to see her with his own two eyes, and hold her in his arms to know that she's safe. Damian left his pack house in such a hurry without a word to anyone. Leaving a few members of his pack that he passed by wondering if something was wrong. In all they're years they never seen their Alpha act the way he has the past week. It was great that he was out of his room, but he exited the house like a war just started. It had them wondering if something was wrong, but they would expect that their Alpha to say something. The few of them just looked at each other wondering if they should follow or wait for orders.
"I thought you were in your room" A deep but gentle voice asks making Lena suck in a scream.
"Holy crap Damian! Don't do that" Lena scowls placing her hand over her heart.
"Sorry red" Damian says smiling at her making his way over to her. Lena didn't move from her spot, because she still wasn't sure if she was in trouble. He didn't seem mad to her, at least the smirk and lustful eyes didn't make him seem that way. The closer Damian got the more Lena's body reacted to him.
Damian couldn't take his eyes off her as he walked over to where she was standing. He could smell the desire that was coming off her the closer he got, and that started to make things inside of him stir. Stopping right in front of her he wasted no time pulling her small frame into his, and taking in her scent. He places his hand on the nape of her neck tilting her head towards him. The sparks flew once their skin connected creating a deep desire for each other. Damian lowered his lips to the pouty smooth ones that he longed for all week. He just wanted to feel them against his for a moment before asking her how she was. But as soon as their lips connected a hunger for each other took control.
