After pacing back and forth in front of his bed for hours with his wolf nagging him to the point of madness. He decided to lay next her to ease his wolf who won the struggling battle he was having to stay away. Slipping in behind her, he reaches an arm out without thinking an wraps it around her pulling her close to his chest. Not able to control himself any longer, he dips his head down to bury his nose into her hair. Breathing in her scent seemed to put both himself, and his wolf at ease. Lena started to stir in her sleep making Damian go still. But she was still breathing heavily, meaning she was still sleeping. A sweet low purr vibrated in her chest that made Damians wolf howl in delight. He then realized she was snuggling in closer as her wolf recognized they were close to their mate.
"Sleep my little red, you are safe now" Damian whispers into her ear, and places a soft kiss on the back of her head. The simple kiss shot off sparks he didn't believe existed, and thought those stories about mates were being over exaggerated. Sure he's kissed plenty of women in the past, but none of them made him feel this way. He felt the beauty in his arms hum in her sleep from the simple affection. Closing his eyes before his thoughts led elsewhere, he needed to make sure he was out of his room before she woke.
.
Lena felt very comfortable, and didn't want to wake up just yet. She snuggled close to the warmth that seem to swarm over her entire body. The exhilarating scent that she loved so much was invading her nose more than usual. This had her eyes snapping open as worry started to consume her. she noticed this wasn't her bed or room she was in. Looking down to see a very large muscular tan arms wrapped around her. Not giving it a second thought she started pushing away screaming.
Next thing she knew she was pinned down on her back with her arms above her head. "Why the hell are you screaming like that for?" the deep groggy voice asks. Before Lena could utter a word, she was caught off guard by the Greek god that was towering over her. The man was breathtakingly gorgeous she thought. His long dark chocolate color hair fell loosely onto his well sculpted face. Lena never cared for beards on guys, but his was trimmed short. Something about it made him even look sexier and rough, if that was even possible. Then there were his eyes, something about them seem very familiar. They were bright whitish gray with a dark gray outline, any girl could get lost in those eyes she thought. She wanted to see more of him, but he's body was covering hers making it hard to get a better view.
"Did you forget how to speak?" He asked annoyed. Snapping out of her daze, Lena tried to get out of his grip.
"No you idiot, anyone in their right mind would scream if they woke up in some strangers bed" Lena snaps at him as she fails to get loose from his grip.
"Why am I here?" she snapped back not liking his tone with her.
"You were injured, and needed assist"
"Why am I in your bed though?" She questions squinting her eyes wearily at him. He went to speak but closes his mouth not knowing how to respond to that without giving the wrong impression. "And who are you" She adds quickly. Suddenly Lena watched as his eyes turn dark, and every muscle in his body harden.
