"Lena I'm so sorry" her father stumbles out weakly truly looking guilty. He tried to take a step towards her, but Damian blocked her more with his body.
"Damian stop this! It was an accident, plus my father would never purposely try to hurt me" Lena protest trying to get Damians attention. Stepping around him carefully, she reaches up placing her hands on either side of his face. "Damian" she whispers seeing that his wolf is surfaced. The touch of her hands on his skin was like an electric current of sweet bliss running through him.
"Damian please look at me" her voice spoke again, and it was harmony to his ears hearing her say his name. Looking down at her with such admiration that made him even prouder to have her as his mate. His steel arms wrapped around her body needed her close to him, burying his face in the cork of her neck. Knowing breathing in her scent would help calm his wolf as well.
"I think we all need to go sit down and discuss this situation" Clair spoke breaking the awkward silence, and the attention on the two love birds. When no one moved to her request she clapped her hands together, and spoke again. "Living room everybody now" her voice more stern this time. No one didn't waste time this time, knowing it was never a good idea to go against Clair Evan.
After Clair retold the whole story so everyone was on the same page, and had all the same information. Lena's parents didn't' seem too surprise about the outcome of everything, but they still looked concerned. Though they knew there was a chance that if they had a daughter should could inherit the gene. But her father still wasn't pleased about her distant mate. Her mother on the other hand was smiling happily, and overwhelmed with joy for her daughter. Not many of their kind tend to come across their other half that was meant for them. Even though Damian didn't have the best reputation, and her mother in-law clarified why. Deep down she knew he was a good man and would do anything he had to, to keep her daughter safe.
"So who's going to tell the great news to Keith" Jay perks up knowing this will just add to the entertainment this gave him. Lena silently groans to herself as Damian's body seemed to go stiff at the sound of the name.
"It's none of his concern" Damian states bitterly making sure to keep his wolf at bay.
"I don't know about that" Jay remarks shaking his head.
"What does that mean?" Damian asks squinting his eyes at him.
"I don't know, maybe the fact he's totally in-"
"Jay, I don't think we need to get off topic with such nonsense" Lena quickly buts in giving her brother a look that told him 'to shut up before she kills him with her bare hands'. He looks at her confused till she mind linked him letting him know he needed to let it go, and would explain it later.
"Oh please" Lena snorts.
"What your pig-headed brother meant to say" their nana started.
"Nana, I have feelings you know" Jay gasps acting hurt, but she wasn't buying it.
"His fighting abilities are more enhance then other warriors. For example his reflects are so good that he could see a bullet coming, and move out of the way" she explains.
"That's a useful gift" Damian spoke, surprising Lena that he was Intune with all this.
