"I wonder what mine and Blair's are?" Lena states out loud, making a look like she was thinking.
"Well before we go down that road, we need to discuss you moving in with Damian next" Clair points out.
"Over my dead body" Jared shoots off the chair roaring.
"So alpha Shaw huh?" Keagan questions taking a seat across the lunch.
"You know too!" Lena groans covering her face with her hands.
"You know how are moms love to gossip with each other" he points out chuckling.
"Of course"
"I'm just kind of hurt you didn't tell me" he says pretending to be hurt, and giving her a sad look.
"I didn't tell anyone for obvious reasons"
"Yeah I get it, so what are you guys going to do now?"
"Honestly, I just don't know. My father isn't very happy about my destined mate" Lena points out as she pushes her food around her plate. Even though she was mad at him for how he was acting towards all this. She knew deep down her father was just trying to protect her just like any father would. If he would just take a moment to loosen up so, he could aspect the situation before going head first. She really just wanted her father to at least try to get to know Damian before he has his mind set.
"Yeah, and I also heard that Nana said you should live with him" he chuckles. "And Uncle Jared blew a lid"
"You have no idea! First Damian shows up out of the blue, telling my father he was my mate, then Nana just had to add gasoline to the fire with that suggestion" Lena told him remembering the event.
"You know how Nana is, she never holds back anything she thinks. I'm surprised Uncle Jared didn't have a stroke" Keegan humors.
"Yeah I know, but still. You always been the bigger person in any situation" he points out. "You know how we men are with our pride, and everything" he adds waving his hand in the air.
"Yeah well, his man pride can bite me" she retorts making Keagan burst out in laughter, which also made her laugh as well.
The lunch bell rang informing the students that their time was up, and the next period would be in five minutes. "Also, you should tell him about Damien before he hears it from someone else, and really loses his shit" Keagan suggested as they empty their trays. Lena gave him a look that told him he really needed to stop talking.
"Hey, don't look at me like that" he tells her with a stern look. "He deserves to hear it from you, and not when everyone else finds out. Plus you guys used to be good friends remember!" he points out making a valid point, and Lena knew it.
"Sometimes I hate you" she whines sagging her shoulders in defeat.
"No, you hate that I'm always right" he smirks throwing his arm over her shoulder. "And that I'm the better looking one in our family"
