Stepping out of the woods, she came across what to look like an old dead carnival. Curious about the place that seem to be abounded for many years, Lena proceeded forward. As if she hit a switch once her foot step into the carnival area. The place suddenly came alive as lights, games and rides began to run like new. It still looked run down even though it was acting like it was opening night with the only costumer being her. Lena kept looking around the abounded place in hopes it would give her answers to why she was there. She's been on this path of darkness for what felt like months to her. This place was the first sign of life to her, at least compare to the never-ending walk in the woods.

Making her way around the eerie games and rides that seem to be older then the dirt she walked on. She comes to a stop when a puppet that stood brand new behind a glass wall with a bright light shining down on it. There it stood just over a foot tall with brown hair that was pulled into pig tales of curls. The face was pale with Rosie cheeks, with big round sea green doll eyes. She was wearing a long elegant white antique lace dress. Something about this doll seem very familiar to Lena as she continued to examine it through the glass window.

The doll moved her arm making Lena jump back in a surprised yelp. She stared wide eye as the doll smiled up to her. Lena blinked a few times wondering if she was seeing things, but the doll gesture her to come closer. Taking a hesitant step forward Lena stopping as the doll started to speak with a Romanian accent.

What are you supposed to do

When the darkness must have you

Nothing can kill the vile beast

It has no remorse, the very least

the deathless leader with a set mind

destroying anything that crosses his line

a lifeless nightfall soon to come

Don't bother trying to run

For you're the chosen one

don't die before you have a chance to wake

know your heart isn't his to take

put a silver knife deep in his chest

time to put this nightmare to rest

must save yourself, and those you love

As soon as the doll was done speaking, it disappeared into thin air. Leaving Lena freaked out, and confused. She stood there staring at the empty glass case that once held a talking doll. Lena went to take a closer look at it, maybe hoping it would reappear. Suddenly, a pair of solid ice cold hands placed gentle on her shoulders making her go still.

"I'm coming for you my love. Soon we will make history with our new hybrids" the deep musical male voice whispered softly into her ear. "For now maybe a little taste" he purred. Next thing Lena knows sharp tenth shanked painfully into her shoulder.

Loud ear piercing, blood curling scream filled the pack house like a war siren. It was the dead of the night when it started, everyone shot up. Damian sprung from his bed heading straight to the medical ward as fast as he could. Everyone he pasted were on the ground coving their ears from the heart wrenching sound. Damian busted through the door leading to Lena's room almost breaking it off its hinges. He found the three he allowed in the room, over on the floor with their hands over their ears with blood dripping down. His eyes went from them to the person with the intense death scream. Lena was sitting up right looking frightful, and in pain. Her eyes black as the deepest hidden caves from any light. He stepped in front of her hoping she would see him there, but she stared straight ahead like he wasn't there.

"Lena" Damian spoke calming as he got closer to her, but she just continued to scream.

"Lena, baby it's me" he said taking a seat on the bed in front of her.

"Red, look at me" Damian tried to order in his Alpha tone, placing his hands on each side of her face. Once his hands touched her face sparks flew, and her scream died leaving them in silence. Her eyes still were solid black as they stared blankly past him, with her body very still.

"Come back to me red" Damian urges holding her face firmly in his hands. "Your safe. I promise I won't let anything happen to you. Please just come back to me"

She continued in the same trance increasing Damians worry about her. "Please baby, I need you here with me. Focus on my voice" he encourages her pleadingly. "I love you, and refuse to lose you like this" he tells her truthfully. Damian leaned in placing his lips gently on hers, savoring the connection that sparked from her touch. When he went to pull back, arms wrapped forcefully around his neck pulling him closer. His eyes shot open as the women in front of him wrapped her arms around him desperately. She kissed him with such eagerness as if she needed proof that he was really there, and still wasn't in a dream. Finally, they broke apart breathless as they rested their foreheads against each other's.
