"How are you feeling?" Damian spoke quietly.
"Tired" she smiled.
"What the past three days weren't enough?" he teases.
"No worries about us over here bleeding from the ears" Jared says sarcastically.
"What happen?" Lena asked wide eye at her brother, then saw Ashton and Blair in the same state as him.
"You and your tonsils" Blair groans.
"Don't worry, I already mind linked the pack doctor" Damian informed them.
The pack doctor quickly took care of the three with bloody ears knowing it was an easy fix. As soon as they were fixed up, they were sent on their way. She began Lena's vitals asking her the basic questions. How she was feeling? Was there any part of her that was sore? Does anything feel different? Lena answered all the Doctors questions honestly.
"Everything seems good. The blood work we took will let us know if the poison has been fully flushed out. In the mean time, I advise you take it ease till the results come in, and come back to see me in a few days" the Doctor explained before excusing herself.
"Now what would you like to do?" Damian asks.
"Feed me, then take me to bed" she answers slipping from the bed, but Damian scooped her up in his arms.
"Hey, I can walk you know"
"Yeah, but I like having you in my arms" he told her huskily.
"Mmm, do you now?" Lena purred placing sweet kisses on his neck making a growl vibrate in his chest.
"I still don't understand what's going, none of this makes any sense" Lena tells her not moving from her spot.
"Will you stop acting so weird, and get your moody ass moving" Blair pushes her into the room sounding annoyed. Blair pushed her a little harshly almost making Lena trip, and fall over. Catching her balance, she looks up from the floor to find herself in sudden darkness. Even with wolf vision she couldn't see her hand in front of her.
"This some kind of joke? Because I do not find it funny" she calls out not sure if anyone was there. Only response was coming from her voice echoing back to her. "Blair! This seriously isn't funny, now turn the light back on" she yells a little longer. She took a few steps forward as a thick aroma of rusty metal hit her senses like a gust of wind. The smell was so strong that it made Lena's stomach curl. Now she was nervous, and felt her heart start to pound against her chest.
"Don't worry my bride to be. Soon everything will fall into place like planned" the deep musical voice that had a Romanian accent to it. That voice seemed very familiar to her, and she didn't like that her body reacted to it.
"Who's there?" she calls out, her voice a little shaky. Something wasn't right about all this, she needed to find Damian. Slowly she took a step back, but her foot seemed to stick to the floor this time.
"Don't be afraid my beloved. I never let any harm come to you, unless you disobey me" the musical informed sounding closer to her.
"But, just so we are clear. This is just a little reminder of what could happen if you become difficult" the voice stated a little too calmly for her liking. Before she had a chance to open her mouth a blinding light beams around her. She had to put her arms up to shield her eyes. Once they adjusted she lower them. The scene before her was the most gruesome, horrifying thing anyone could ever imagine. Hundreds of dead slaughter bodies surrounded her covered in blood, and guts of loved ones. Familiar faces lied there almost unrecognizable till her eyes landed on one. Time stopped as everything around her seem to fade away like it never was there. If she looked in a mirror she knew her once sun kissed tan skin was now replaced with a pale white color. Her heart froze instantly as if forgot how to beat. It was if her heart new the only reason of its purpose was no longer needed. Because its sole reason laid before them soaked in their own blood, as their own heart cease to exist.
