"Where's Lena?" He asks looking over to Blair. Poking her head up from Ashtons chest. "Umm, she turned in before the sad part" she answers, then buried her face back into Ashtons chest. Well that explain why he didn't feel what the others must have felt. He thought maybe Lena prepared herself before the ending came, and that's why he didn't feel anything. "Thanks" is all he said before leaving the men with their sobbing women.
"I'm so sorry for being so distant the past couple weeks" Kaylie weeped, throwing her arms around Darren. "Life is too short to let little things get to you" she adds burying her face in the crook of his neck. He froze a moment, not expecting to find his mate like this. Not wasting another second Darren wraps his arms around Kaylie, and burying his face into her thick wavy hair.
"See, watch one. Then you'll finally understand women" Elliot's chuckles, walking past Darren. "Yeah, yeah" Darren grumbles. "What is my granddad talking about?" Kaylie perks up.
Looking into those teary sea green eyes had all Darren's concerns washed away. "Nothing baby, let's go to bed" he tells her, and places a kiss on the top of her forehead. "Okay" is all she says, staying in his hold as they made their way to their now shared room.
Walking into their bedroom, Damian found a card with a red rose next to it on their bed. Picking up the card, he quickly opens it, and reads the delicate handwriting.
Alpha Shaw,
Could you please meet me at the gym!
Yours truly,
Red
p.s don't forget the rose ?
Grabbing the rose, Damian followed the note as asked. Walking through the noiseless pack house, Damian hoped that was a good thing. Opening the door that lead to the gym. Damian was once again greeted with another card with a red rose, that sat on a bench a few feet in front of him.
Placing the rose with the other one, Damian picked up the card and opened it.
Alpha Shaw,
The twinkling lights and petals led Damian to a chaise chair, with another note laying on top. It simple stated:
Sit back and enjoy the show
The overpriced comfortable chaise chair was not doing a very good job for Damians stiff body. His racing heart was pounding so hard he felt it in his ears. Everything around him seem to fade out, even though it was already pitch black in the room. Minus the handful of flickering tea lights, and the dim foggy head light that shine down about ten feet in front of him.
There under the gloomy light stood a figure in a long deep ruby red cloak. Damian was so tense at the sight before him, that he had to grip the edge of the chair to keep his cool.
A rhythmic-rich melody exploded over the room, as the figure slowly pushed back the hood of the cloak. Luxurious chestnut waves spilled over as the red cloak fell to the ground. As soon as the figured kicked the cloak to the side, they spun as more dim lights lite the room. There in a black tight, what looked like a cut up shirt of Damians. It was cut just inches under the breasts, with black strings wrapped around the smooth curved waist line. She was wearing a pair of black girly sweat pants that hugged her in all the right places.
To say Lena was nervous about this little show she worked on for the past couple weeks, was an understatement. Her and Blair worked everything out perfectly, and she only hoped she didn't make a fool of herself. When she spun around to face Damian, all fear of looking foolish vanished. She didn't go with a sexy outfit, because she had other plans. But the excitement in his eyes, was all the encouragement she needed to lose herself in the music. Her dancing was innocent yet seductive at the same time, at least that was what she was going for.
