Now, with what Shannon had disclosed, everything Vincent said seemed spot-on.

At this moment, a memory resurfaced in Kingsley's mind. Vincent had mentioned that, despite the passage of time, he couldn't recall the buyer's exact appearance. However, one defining feature stood out clearly—the peculiar eyes of that person.

Contemplating this, Kingsley turned to Shannon and inquired, "Mrs. White, was there anything unusual about your father's eyes?"

Shannon was taken aback by the question, wondering, ''How did you know? When my father was young, he injured his left eye, eventually leading to complete blindness. Ever since then, he has been wearing a prosthetic eye."

With this revelation, Kingsley pieced much of the puzzle together.

The mastermind who set up Jonah and others to kill his parents was the owner of the Holdaway Golf Estate, John Timothy.

Yet, even with some pieces falling into place, a few puzzling bits remained unresolved.

Yet, the question remained: What happened to the other industries? Who took control of them?

There were a total of twenty-four conglomerates under The Nightingale Intelligence Agency's umbrella. Moreover, the implications of John's statement raised questions about whose interests were genuinely affected.

It seemed possible that there were others behind John, pulling the strings. Matt and the others may have been left with only meager remains from them.

Kingsley's gaze flickered subtly as he probed Shannon. "Go on, please. What happened next?"

After a prolonged silence, Kingsley spoke softly. "It's not your fault. Even if you had spoken up, I believe they would have found other ways to carry out their evil plans."

Cassius comforted Shannon with a soothing pat on her back. "He's right. It's been a long time since that happened, Shann. You don't have to blame yourself."

Shannon's tears continued to flow as she lamented, "How can I not blame myself? Whenever I think of that family of three, it feels like my heart is being torn apart! Seeing the Timothys today just made those painful memories hit harder. If I had to go back and face my father every day, I would surely lose my mind!"

Kingsley let out a sigh. "The Nicholsons' cemetery is currently under construction. If it haunts you, maybe you can pay your respects to the deceased after it's done. Perhaps sharing everything at their graveside could bring you some solace."

Shannon's crying momentarily halted at his suggestion. "How... how do you know about the Nicholsons' cemetery so well?"

In that instant, she suddenly froze. "Your last name is Nicholson too. It can't be..."
