Mickey was grinding his teeth so hard that his molars were about to shatter from the force, but he couldn't find any words to refute Rayden's words!

This rule was indeed set by Jarett himself!

Yet, who could have expected that Ivory Fang Sect would have such a deceitful leader?!

There was nothing he could do but glare at Kingsley as he spat, "Boss Nicholson, you are truly cunning! You even have significant control over the Cole Gang, the leader of the Ivory Fang Sect himself! However, you've forgotten something important! Mr. Lawson is an honored guest within the Cole Gang. So, Jarett values him a great deal! Are you sure you want to go against Jarett?"

Then, he inhaled deeply before continuing, "Even if you do have the Northern Draken Tag in your hands, you should know that powerful outsiders could hardly go against the local bullies! This is Jarett's territory, and you're in Solaris Province!"

Kingsley simply raised an eyebrow and glanced at him, saying calmly, "Oh, Mickey. I've spared you simply because we've known one another for quite some time. I'd advise you not to seek your death so eagerly."

Although his tone was nothing but impassive, it still exuded a chilling aura!

Mickey involuntarily shivered and parted his mouth to speak. Alas, he found that he couldn't bring himself to say another word against Kingsley!

Then, Kingsley turned to Rayden and said, "Ask the people at the door if anyone else wants to come in. If no one dares to enter, have your men keep an eye on them and bar anyone from leaving the premises!"

"Yes!"

Rayden nodded and went to the door, shouting loudly, "Who else wants to come in and give it a try?!"

There was no response from Mickey's men after his words.

All of Mickey's subordinates lowered their heads, not daring to meet Rayden's gaze.

These people were only capable of some modicum amount of bravery if they were fighting as a group.

Meanwhile, if they were faced with a dangerous situation, they would all shrink into their tortoiseshells and refuse to leave them.

"No one?" Rayden sneered and swept his gaze across the crowd. Then. he ordered his men, "Surround them all. Don't let anyone leave!"

"Yes, Master!"

The members of Ivory Fang Sect responded and immediately herded Mickey's men to a secluded corner, forming a tight circle around them.

"What do you mean?! Are you planning to abandon me?!" Kendall shrieked shrilly, "Didn't you just hear that this Nicholson person is going to deal with me next?! Aren't you going to find a way to save me?!"

Mickey simply shrugged as he sighed wearily. "Well, as you can see, even my men are under someone's control now. I can't even leave this room myself. Does it look like I have a way to save you?"

Finally, he looked at the ceiling before muttering, completely remorseful, "If I had known you were going to get yourself involved with Boss Nicholson's business, I wouldn't have bothered wading through this cesspit!"

As he observed Rayden and Kingsley's exchange, Mickey had already figured things out. He was now more certain than ever that Rayden was working for Kingsley!

Plus, it didn't take a genius to know that they definitely wouldn't allow Jarett to learn about their dealings.

So, there were two ways his life was going to go. He was either going to be permanently silenced or… he had to find a way to join their camp, fast.

Mickey chuckled bitterly as he thought, Oh, how the tables have turned indeed! I was the one planning to silence everyone here. Yet, here I am now, becoming the executed instead of the executioner!

As he arrived at that conclusion, he didn't waste any time before falling to his knees with a loud thug and respectfully saying to Kingsley, "Boss Nicholson, I was blinded by ignorance before and didn't leave the Cole Gang with Advisor Shane. Now, I am willing to follow Advisor Shane, to follow you. I beg of you to find it within yourself to spare my life!"
