Ever since Mickey's last humiliating defeat and its subsequent consequences, he had become much wiser.

He called his men in to fight earlier because Rayden had attacked him without warning.

Now that he realized that massive blunder he had made, his body was already drenched in cold sweat!

Kingsley looked down at Mickey and said lightly, "So, you intend to betray Jarett and join our faction?"

"Yes! That's exactly it!" Mickey nodded repeatedly.

Then, he continued, "I should have followed Advisor Shane from the beginning and joined you. I can only see a future worth living for when I follow you! Compared to you, Jarett is nothing! He's not even worthy of licking your shoes!"

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone in the room sported rather peculiar expressions.

From Luke and the diners' perspective, Jarett was a well-known underworld boss!

Meanwhile, they had no idea who this young man in front of them was!

Yet, Mickey actually claimed that Jarett wasn't even worthy of licking his shoes!

Kingsley smiled and responded calmly, "Well, I suppose it's not impossible for you to join me… However, I'm sure you've noticed that now isn't the time, yes? I do need to address the current situation before anything else."

"Of course!" Mickey transformed into a being of never-ending patience as he beamed.

Then, he turned to address Kingsley's recent 'victims,' saying, "Mr. Lawson… Then again, your title means nothing here. So, I don't think you'd mind overly much if I refer to you by name now, Kendall. There's also that foolish woman. Oh, there she is! They're nothing but fools. I can't believe they would be so brave as to steal someone under your protection! You have to teach them a lesson!"

Kendall and Hillary were rendered utterly speechless when they heard his declaration.

Frankly, the both of them were flabbergasted by his sudden change in attitude.

Wasn't Mickey here to help them?!

Why the hell did he betray them so easily?!

Kendall's disbelief immediately burned into sheer fury as he hissed, "D*mn it, Mickey! This was your plan all along, wasn't it? First, you brought in some nonsense leader to tie me up. Now, you've turned against me! You're just a deceitful b*stard!"

"Okay!" Ethan nodded as he leaped out of Yulia's arms. Then, he promptly dashed over to Joaquin, calling out for his grandfather as he threw himself into his grandfather's arms.

Kingsley turned to Yulia and inquired, "Is this woman your agent?"

"Yes," Yulia replied, looking at Kingsley with admiration in her eyes. "She is my agent, and she arranges all my work."

Then, his voice grew cold as he questioned, "Does she often mistreat you?"

Judging from the insults Hillary hurled toward Yulia earlier, he had already deduced that Hillary didn't see Yulia as a person at all!

There was a high possibility that this kind of humiliation had become a regular occurrence!

"She… She hasn't really mistreated me. However, she does always make me serve some bosses and Young Masters," Yulia replied. "If I refuse, she will keep pressuring me into doing it. She always claims it's for my own good."

Kingsley couldn't help but sigh and rub his forehead after hearing her statement.

Oh, naive Yulia, isn't this still considered mistreatment?!
