Maverick was the leader of the Cole Gang Thunderbolt Division.

Despite his prestigious title, Jarett didn't favor him, mainly because of Maverick's reckless nature.

Jarett believed people like him were simply not suitable for significant tasks. However, because Maverick was known for his loyalty and all the subordinates within the Thunderbolt Division supported him, he became the leader of the Thunderbolt Division.

Some time ago, Jarett had appointed a trusted subordinate to manage the Thunderbolt Division, but no one followed his orders. The subordinate killed a member of the Thunderbolt Division, attempting to set an example. However, despite outward compliance, the members secretly bound him in a sack and gave him a severe beating.

Seeing Maverick take a few steps back with gritted teeth and remaining silent, Robert sneered, "Huh, have you already chickened out just at the mention of Lawson Group? From how arrogant you behaved earlier, I thought you really were something!"

"This guy must be out of his mind to call the Lawsons small fries!"

"Check his license plate; he's a local! Either he's overly confident, or there's something wrong with his head!"

"You can say that again. This guy is either showing off or just plain foolish!"
