Olivia clearly hadn’t been trained for situations like this. When the man touched her, her expression immediately changed. 

She immediately snapped her head around to glare at him. “What are you doing? 

The man had only meant to touch her casually. For him, such behavior was second nature. But Olivia’s reaction caught him off guard. 

He quickly chuckled coldly and said, “What are you talking about? What did I do?” 

“I’m asking you what you did! You touched me just now! Everyone saw it!” Olivia replied through gritted teeth. 

Hendrix had been talking to someone beside him, and it wasn’t until Olivia’s shrill voice rang out that he looked

Olivia just happened to sweep her gaze over him at that moment, but she quickly looked away. Her eyes became slightly reddened the next instant. 

“I didn’t touch you.” The man’s smirk deepened. “You’re new here, aren’t you?” 

So what if I am? I’ll have you know there are surveillance cameras in this room. All I have to do is check the footage to prove what you did.” 

“You little bitch, you should be honored that I’m even willing to talk to you!” 

As everyone in the private dining room turned to look at them, the man’s face flushed with embarrassment. 

He stood up, ready to use his status to shut her down, when Hendrix suddenly asked, “What’s going on?” His voice was calm and indifferent. But given his status, the moment he spoke, the man’s anger was instantly subdued. 

The others quickly stepped in to smooth things over. 

Just then, the restaurant manager arrived. 

Oliver, her eyes l red, had hoped the manager would stand up for her. But as soon as the manager entered, he began scolding her and dragged her over to apologize to the group. 

Olivia, of course, refused. 

In the end, the manager fired her on the spot. 

The manager’s actions immediately placated the man, and with Hendrix watching from the side–clearly displeased–the man didn’t press the issue further. 

Olivia was quickly escorted out. 

Naturally, she was furious. But she didn’t have the guts to form back into the private dining room, so she waited in the hallway instead. 

Initially, she planned to confront the man who had touched her. She knew the manager wouldn’t give her the surveillance footage, so reporting it to the police would be pointless. 

So, she decided to take matters into her own hands. After all, she had already been fired, so what did she have to lose? 

But instead of finding the man, she ran into Hendrix, who ad apparently stepped out to make a phone call.
