Walter cursed quietly to himself. He took a deep breath and said, “It’s the picture Brian took from outside when we were watching a movie.” 

Shakira finally understood and said, “Oh, so Brian took it. I was wondering.” She smirked slightly and continued, “I didn’t expect Brian to capture such a vibe in the photo.” 

Walter, for once, agreed, “It’s a nice photo.”

Walter a sidelong glance and continued, “Nice enough for you to keep it on your desk, huh?” Her tone was playful and relaxed as if she didn’t take it too seriously.

some reason, didn’t want to just brush this off. His deep eyes locked onto Shakira.

The moment Walter confirmed it, Shakira was once again caught in a daze. Walter was still all over the place, feeling a panic he couldn’t control, and his large hand on Shakira’s arm trembled slightly, with undeniable warmth coming off it.

Realizing that Walter thought this way, the expression on her face became serious. She quickly explained, “I didn’t say I didn’t like you. If I didn’t like you, would I be around you all the time?” 

Walter narrowed his eyes, watching Shakira with suspicion. “You like me too?” 

Shakira paused for a moment and said, “I guess so?” 

Before she could finish her sentence, the air around them seemed to turn icy suddenly. With a dangerous vibe, Walter let out a cold, mocking laugh. “You guess so?” 

Shakira quickly corrected herself. “Sure, of course. I like you!” She had every reason to believe that if she answered a moment later, Walter might snap her neck… 

Walter let out a heavy hum and said, “Your confession might not be on point, but I’ll reluctantly accept it.” 

Shakira couldn’t hold back a smile.
