Jacob closed the exercise book and said, “Maddie is calling us for dinner.”

He had just finished his history homework with Brian’s company, but there were still two math problems he couldn’t do. He didn’t want Brian to know about it, so he planned to solve the problems slowly by himself.

Brian was silent for a while and then said, “Okay. Let’s go downstairs to wash our hands and have dinner.”
