At the airport, Sera hugged Liam.“Take care.” 

He hugged her back. “I will.” 

At the Landry residence.

The head of the Landry family was no longer Jax, but his half–brother 

Damon. 

It was Damon’s wedding, and the servants got up early in the morning to 

decorate the villa. 

Rylee watched from a window, looking envious. Because of the affair, she’d 

lost everything. Jax married her but refused to hold a wedding and stayed out 

every night. Even Jax’s parents despised her and forbade her to appear before the 

guests. Had she not been pregnant, she would have been thrown out of here. 

She touched her belly. She had dreamed of how she would marry Jax and live 

in luxury after she drove Serenity away, but now she had to hide behind the 

window to watch someone else’s wedding. She was no longer as arrogant and 

domineering as she used to be, but the public still hated her. Some even asked if 

she was a prostitute. 

It was getting light and the invited guests were taking their seats.

gave Damon the wedding gift and chatted with him. Damon 

asked, “You still single, huh?” 

Liam shrugged. “Yeah, but I’m pursuing a girl.”

At the party, Liam searched for Jax but couldn’t find him. Then, there was a 

sudden noise from the next building. Guests looked over, seeing Jax shielding a 

woman in a white dress and glaring at Rylee. Liam walked over. When he saw the 

woman’s face, he froze. She looked just like Serenity! 

Rylee clutched her hand, her face contorting. She thought that if she was a 

good wife Jax would come back to her, but instead he brought back a woman 

who looked almost exactly like Serenity!
