Jared withdrew his hand right away, and he stared with bloodshot eyes at the lifeless corpse for some time before he uttered while gritting her teeth, “No, this isn’t Gwen! Don’t try to fool me with someone else’s corpse, I won’t believe it!”

‘How could Gwen become like this? This must be fake, it’s fake!’

He pushed the bodyguards back into the water and roared like a trapped beast, “Go look for her again, go! If you can’t find Gwen, don’t come and see me!”

Janice stopped him. “Jared, Jared, don’t do this. This is Gwen, she couldn’t have survived after being out at sea for three days and three nights; the waves were huge! God has already blessed you by letting you find her dead body, so please stop being so stubborn, okay?”

Who knew, Jared turned his hand and pushed her away. “You’re lying to me!! How could Gwen die? She still owes me many things, and she hasn’t explained anything to me, so how does she deserve to leave? I’m going to find her, I’ll go find her myself!”

Following that, he wanted to enter the sea, but the bodyguards held him back. Even then, Jared yelled and struggled as though the sea was his home and disregarded his safety.

Janice could not take it after being neglected like that. ‘How many times have I been pushed away these few days because of Gwen? How could this be? Am I not the person he loves? Doesn’t he hate Gwen? Why did he go mad when Gwen died?’

She clenched her fists and screamed behind Jared with all her might, “Gwen is already dead! She’s completely dead! She can’t be revived!”

Jared seemed to have regained his senses after being screamed at, hence he froze.

Subsequently, Janice went forward to hug him. “Jared, our child, and Gwen have left you, but I’m still by your side. I’ll never leave you, and I’ll be with you till the end, I promise.”

She emphasized the words “our child” to remind Jared that Gwen, whom he was tirelessly searching for, was their child’s murderer.

Jared shut his eyes and listened to the waves, and he felt as though he could hear Gwen’s cries. Blood surged in Jared’s heart all of a sudden, and when he could not take it anymore, he pressed his chest and vomited blood…
