Chapter 1008 novel Mr. Jones Be Gentle (Grace)

After one night together, that woman disappeared. After dedicating a lot of time to searching for her, he was left with no choice but to stop searching. Instead, along with confusion and his family's expectations, he went to the United States.

There, he bumped into that woman once, and yet she managed to escape him. They had been chasing and hiding from one another a few times already.

Finally, he managed to nab this woman that day.

This time, he wouldn't let go of her until she explained what happened previously.

He just couldn't allow himself to not understand what happened after having his chastity taken away.

After all, he was Zachary Lowe, a man who practiced abstinence so well. He would never allow such a thing to happen to him. Never.

With a sharp gaze, he stared at the woman in front of him, who was trying to look nonchalant.

"I don't have much to say," Yvonne said indifferently. "Mr. Lowe, please move aside. I want

to leave now."

If someone caught both of them here in the female restroom, there might be unpleasant rumors.

She stepped forward, but Zachary didn't intend to let her go.

He also took a step closer to her, which pressured her greatly, making her heart thump uncontrollably.

She took a deep breath and said in a trembling voice, "Mr. Lowe, please step aside. I'm still working. My boss will be worried and angry if I'm still not back after such a long time."

"Did you just say that your boss will be worried and angry if you haven't gone back already?" He smiled coldly, and his tone was cold with a hint of sarcasm, which further frightened Yvonne. "Why don't you disappear for another six years instead? Then, we'll see if your boss might be even angrier and worried."

Did he just use the term "worried"?

She was startled and looked into his eyes, as if she was trying to seek for answers there.

However, all she could see were raging fire and anger, as if they could burn her anytime.

She was afraid.

She didn't dare to look into his eyes anymore as she sensed his anger.

In fact, his entire body was tense.

He also had this cold aura surrounding him which deterred anyone from getting nearer to him, as anyone who attempted to do so would easily feel his rage.

She understood where his rage stemmed from as well.

"Speak," he suddenly yelled at her.

Yvonne was shocked to the point she trembled. She looked up to stare at Zachary again, just to lower her head immediately as she felt her heart ache.

Finally, after a long period of silence.

She whispered softly, "I have nothing to say."

Bang!

He punched the toilet door.

She was utterly shocked to the point she raised her eyes to look at him again, just to find his hand bleeding.

Blood dripped down along his hand; it was truly a frightening scene to look at.

He also punched the door so hard that it shook.

This was the first time she witnessed him with such great anger.

For such a long time, Zachary, the young master of the Lowe family, had always been good at restraining himself. This was the first time he was enraged to this extent.

She squatted down in front of him and opened her own pouch. She looked experienced when she took out a bottle of iodine solution, cotton balls and a box of plasters.

She seemed to be carrying these items with her at all times. Also, her box of plaster was decorated with many cartoon figures that looked really attractive. He couldn't tell what those cartoon figures were, but he did find them rather cute.

He never thought that a woman such as Yvonne would be using such cute plasters.

Zachary pursed his lips and stared at her with a sharp gaze without saying anything.

He just kept on staring at her, as well as the way she disinfected his injury by using the cotton ball to absorb the iodine solution, then rubbing it gently on his injury. Eventually, the iodine-stained cotton balls removed his blood stains, so all that remained were his skin and flesh.

She only used each cotton ball once, and she looked really skilled and experienced with the way she handled his injury.

It was as if she was a professional disinfectant.

Zachary frowned rather discretely and felt confused as he thought to himself, "Has she been a nurse for the past few years? Could that be why she's so skilled in this?"

However, that was impossible.

She was a science student with excellent grades. There was no way she could have ended up as a nurse.

Soon, she was done with disinfecting his injury. She kept the cotton balls in her pouch, then applied two plasters on his injury.

After everything was settled, she felt relieved and said, "Before your injury heals, make sure not to let it get into contact with water, otherwise it might cause an infection and slow down the recovery process."

Zachary frowned even more as he stared at the way those cute looking plasters were stuck on his slender, yet masculine hand.

Yvonne noticed that he wasn't answering her so she followed his gaze to find that he was frowning at the plasters. She was stunned for a while and immediately felt embarrassed about it.

These plasters were prepared for her daughter, Maria, as she would sometimes injure herself while playing. Hence, she kept these with her at all times, but she never expected to use these plasters on the father of her daughter.

As soon as she thought of this, Yvonne stopped her thoughts and shifted her attention. She merely explained, "I only have this type of plaster, just bear with it for now."
