He picked up the call, and Liam's voice came through.

"President Windham, Ryker's DNA test results are out."

"Whatcha got?"

"It's a perfect match with the DNA data you provided. He's the Cameron who disappeared 15 years ago."

When he asked Liam to investigate Ryker's DNA he had a hunch this would be the answer, so he wasn't too surprised when Liam confirmed it.

Brett took the elevator to the third floor and reached the room. He unlocked the door with his fingerprint, entered silently, and stepped on the soft carpet.

Izabella was startled awake, turned her head, saw Brett and said with a hoarse voice, "You're back?"

"Yeah, you stayed up?" Brett sat on the edge of the bed and couldn't help but reach out and touch her face.

Having been in the cold wind for nearly two hours, his hand was icy. Izabella shivered as soon as he touched her and complained with a whine, "it's cold!"
