“Stop shouting! Keep your pretty little mouth shut! Do you want our entire pack to know that? Why are you always ready to make an announcement about me?” I asked keeping my palm on her mouth.
“He is your mate?” she asked in a whisper after removing my hand from her mouth.
“Yes. When he saved me from falling, our body touched and then those sparks, you know the rest” I said in a frustrated tone.
The uncontrollably romantic Lily didn’t pay attention to any of the details except for one.
“Ooo, he saved you from falling, how romantic! How does it feel to be in his muscular arms?” She asked with hearts in her eyes.
“Are you listening to what I am trying to say?” I asked in annoyance.
‘This darn girl is just too much sometimes’ I thought looking at the excited kitten.
“Yeah. The hot Alpha is your mate! I heard it and I am jealous” said Lily loudly.
“That’s not it! He can’t be my mate. My mate is that handsome wolf I met in the woods. This arrogant jerk can’t be my mate” I said in complete denial.
“He is not that arrogant to be precise” said Lily taking the hot guy’s side as always.
