None of the Thompsons gave the wreath much thought. They simply thought that one of Alex's friends had sent the wreath. After all, Alex had lots of comrades back then.

It never occurred to the Thompsons that it was Shaun who sent them the wreath.

Will's angry voice cut through the air. "It's no use talking to him! He can't leave this room until he apologizes!"

Will turned, ready to leave, when he saw some movement from the corners of his eyes. Shaun bowed in front of Alex's photo.

Turning to face Shaun, Will saw him straighten his back after bowing. It seemed as if Shaun had finally come to a realization.

"I was wrong for not keeping my promise," Shaun admitted. "But I wasn't wrong for pursuing my happiness."

Brook, who stood in a corner, stiffened. His face fell. He had thought that the situation would get better, but Shaun's second sentence made it seem impossible.

An anxious Brook sighed inwardly and told himself, "He could've just apologized. There's no need to be so stubborn and add the second sentence!"

Will stared at Shaun's back for a while before finally opening his mouth to speak. With much difficulty, he said, "We were wrong for forcing you to marry someone you didn't like. I hope we can talk things out in the future."

Brook had thought that Will would go ballistic and beat Shaun up like how Alex did in the past. It came as a total surprise that Will would take the initiative to apologize.

Feeling a little touched that Shaun and WIll finally reconciled after so long, Brook's eyes started to sting. Alex would be so relieved to learn that his son and grandson had finally reconciled.

Even Sandra, who stood outside, started crying tears of joy. For the past few years, she had blamed Will for hurting and forcing Shaun to get on the cruise ship. It was why she treated Will coldly and gave him the silent treatment.

The heavy cloud of emotions that hung over her heart dissipated at this instant.

Samantha brought up the matter of matchmaking Dora and Zach quite a lot just now. Meanwhile, Hera asked Dora to look after Zach.

Dora was sure of it. Samantha and Hera wanted Dora and Zach to be together in the future.
