Hera felt as if something was clutching her heart, and she felt suffocated because of it.
"Youngworth Miracle Clinic stopped operating at the courtyard house. The scumbag and his lover made things difficult for the staff. Sarah and Isla are the only ones left now. They refuse to dissolve the clinic."
Youngworth Miracle Clinic. The name sounded familiar to Hera's ears.
"Where's the clinic?" she asked.
"It's in a dilapidated alley in Jedburgh. I can bring you there tomorrow if you're free," Gino suggested.
The clinic was the culmination of Hera's blood, sweat, and tears. Now, it was on the verge of closing down. If Hera returned to the clinic, she might be able to save it from doom.
"Okay," Hera answered readily.
"Let's head home after that," Gino told her. He wanted to bring her home and prove to Gideon that he wasn't lying.
"Sure." Hera nodded at his words. Maybe she could get back some of her memories once she was home.
Gino was overjoyed. He took out his phone to save Hera's number. Then, he leaned closer to her to take a few photos with her as if he were afraid that it was just a dream and that she'd disappear tomorrow.
They chatted for a little while. When Gino checked the time, he realized that it was already 10:30 pm. The twins were still busy with their homework.
Gino decided to head home since it was rather late already. Before he left, he handed Hera a card. "You should have this. The PIN number is the last six digits on the back of the card. Spend all you want. I can transfer more money to you if you need it. I can support you and the twins."
Hera glanced at the card and didn't take it. "Has our family always been so generous with money?"
"Yeah. If you don't take my card, Mom, Dad, and Gideon will give you something else. Let me be the first. Take it." That said, Gino shoved the card into Hera's hand.
He added, "Even if you don't want it, you should consider Dylan's and Dora's future. You can't just rely on the prize money you get from competitions and let them suffer."
Hera was confused. Since when did she let Dylan and Dora suffer?
"Okay!" Dora made a mental note to visit Gino sometime.
"Sorry for what happened this morning, Uncle Gino," said Dylan, his expression serious. "I just wanted to pull your leg."
He felt sorry about it, and after finding out that Gino was his uncle, he regretted it even more.
Gino had almost forgotten about it. "It's fine. From blows, friendship grows. Don't you dare think I've lost because of that. We'll go for another round next time."
"Sure!" Dylan nodded, accepting the challenge. "Don't worry, I promise I won't repeat my mistake."
"Why, thank you," he thought wryly.
