Chapter 876 marks a crucial moment in Swnovelss’s Love novel, Under the Heiress' Facade. This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

"It was Dyl who called Daddy Three. Mommy, you said we can't lie. Children who lie aren't good children," said Dora.

That said, she stuck out her tongue at Dylan to take revenge for pissing her off earlier.

Dylan was furious. How could she turn her back on him and spill the beans just like that? He made a mental note not to take her along with him when he went out to have fun next time.

Lowering his head remorsefully, he said, "I was wrong, Mommy. I shouldn't have taken Dora out with me without your permission."

Hera knew Dylan was a smart kid who hatched all sorts of ideas. But he was so young. What would happen if he bumped into people with ill intentions? What would Hera be able to do then?

Hera remembered the time Dylan and Dora went abroad on their own. She was worried sick the entire time.

"Very well. Your punishment is to erase this section from the surveillance footage," Hera told Dylan as she pointed at the surveillance camera in the corridor.

Dylan's eyes lit up at her words. "Consider it done!"

Dora wanted to gloat because Dylan had received his punishment, but then she heard Hera say, "Dora, you followed Dylan out here. You two are accomplices now. Go back home and draw me a complete picture of all the acupuncture points of the human body."

These words struck Dora like a thunderclap in the dead of night.

"Mommy, I was wrong! I don't want to draw that! Is it okay if I do some math exercises instead?" she pleaded, batting her eyelashes.

If she was asked to complete some math exercises, she could copy Dylan's answers. But to ask her to draw a picture of the human body with all its acupuncture points was hellish.

"No. Go back home now," said Hera, grabbing Dylan and Dora by the hand and leading them outside.

Hera hadn't settled the matter regarding Bernard. Bernard didn't believe her, so she changed her mind. She didn't want to let Bernard know of the twins' existence just yet.

It'd be like dropping a bomb on him if she suddenly told him about the twins. Therefore, it was best if she took the twins away for now.

After giving his speech at the product launch event, Bernard answered several questions posed by the guests.

A horde of reporters gathered around him after he got off the stage. They wanted to continue interviewing him, but he outright refused them.

Handing over the task of dealing with the guests to Theo, Bernard left the hall. He didn't want to waste a single second there, and he headed to the office.

Bernard didn't even spare them a glance. "To the wilderness you go," he said coldly as he turned and left.

"Mr. Killian, please… " the bodyguards pleaded.

It was already lunchtime when Hera and the twins arrived home. Thinking that the product launch event at the hotel wouldn't end so early, Hera went to prepare lunch for the twins first.

She would head back to the hotel afterward. Most probably, she wouldn't be too late.

When Hera was halfway done cooking, Dora suddenly came into the kitchen with Hera's phone.

"Mommy, someone's calling you," said Dora.

Hera looked at the screen. The caller had no ID, but she recognized the number. Bernard had called her using this number before.

Did he already find out that she had left?
