"Mr. Whitlock, don't you think Mr. Killian is going too far? He's overestimating himself." Brenda fumed after leaving the Imperial Hotel.

"We have to keep our heads down when on someone else's turf," Vanta was much calmer than her. "You were quite impulsive earlier. Don't you know that Bernard is known for keeping his distance from women?"

Brenda was embarrassed. "I just thought his aloofness was because he hadn't met the right woman. How was I supposed to know he avoids them completely?"

She clung to Vanta's arm. "So, what now, Mr. Whitlock? Since he's not interested in women, should we bring a man next time?"

Vanta thought otherwise. With his many years of experience, he could see Bernard's true intention. He wanted to meet Hera.

"No need. You don't need to worry about it anymore. I'll let Esther handle this," he said.

Jealousy crossed Brenda's eyes. "Can she handle it?"

If Esther took over, all the credit would go to her.

"Didn't you notice Theo's reaction when he didn't see Esther?" Vanta countered.

Realization struck Brenda, and she became even more envious. Her tone was dripping with sarcasm. "Who knows what tricks Esther used to catch Mr. Killian's attention?"

Vanta was curious too, but he didn't show it. The two of them left.

Back in the meeting room, Theo had just escorted the guests out, leaving only him and Bernard. Theo picked up the product portfolio Vanta had left behind, opening it to reveal the latest products from Future Tech.

After reviewing the first product, he handed it to Bernard. "Honestly, I think their newly developed robot is pretty impressive. Its performance and other aspects seem well-suited for the Agrecia market."

Bernard glanced at him. "What did Esther give you in return for putting in a good word?"

Theo was speechless. As a competitor, he was familiar with all of Future Tech's products and knew this latest robot was one of Esther's creations after joining the company.

Back at the courtyard house, Douglas had already completed the tasks Hera had given. After she asked him to contact a cleaning service, the once-dusty courtyard house was cleaned that afternoon. Even new plants were set up, with only the unused east wing untouched.

Hera didn't stay idle either. She contacted a moving company and packed up the items from the clinic with Isla and Sarah's help. They were brought back so that they could reorganize the space.

Seeing the familiar house again, Sarah was thrilled. "Hera, you're amazing! You managed to bring the clinic back."

After some thought, she decided to stay and work with Hera.

"Of course! Hera's the legendary miracle doctor!" Isla said proudly.

Hera smiled. "Let's set it up the way it was before."

"Mrs. Jones would be moved if she were still here." Sarah sighed.
