William asked, "Did you get a good look? Are you sure it was Tiffany?"

"I-I think so. I followed them to this small motel, then I lost sight of them. But William, why are you even here?" Brianna stammered, carefully gauging his reaction.

William raised his phone and displayed a text message. "Someone sent me this, said there was a surprise and to come here."

Brianna skimmed the message, noting the last digits of the number. It matched Jenson's.

"It's probably a spam message, or maybe it was sent to the wrong person," she said and quickly deleted the evidence.

William watched her actions silently as he pocketed his phone. "Let's go, I'll take you back."

"Sure."

They drove for a few minutes when William's phone buzzed again. He answered, his expression shifting.

"Sorry, change of plans. I can't take you back right now," he said to Brianna after hanging up.

"What's wrong?"

"Dinner at my mom's. She wants me home."

Brianna pursed her lips and took William's hand. "William, we've been together for a while now. When will I get to meet your parents?"

"We'll discuss it later, you should head back and get some rest now."

William picked up his phone to call a cab for her.

"Alright." Brianna obediently got out of the car.

"Are you sure? Take a closer look," William said, holding his phone a bit closer.

The receptionist studied the photo again, carefully this time.

However, she still shook her head. "Honestly, she hasn't been here. She's pretty; I'd remember if she had been here."

William paused for a moment, then flipped to Brianna's photo. "What about this one?"

"Uh… She's definitely been here," the receptionist confirmed firmly.

William was taken aback by her certainty. "Are you sure? Could you be mistaken?"

"No. She comes here every month with her boyfriend. They rent a room for a day or two, and she's practically a regular. I wouldn't forget her face."
