Zac tugged at the hem of his shirt. "Don't worry, Chandler. I won't let you down."

With those words, Zac walked away. Chandler's gaze deepened with a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes.

The next morning, Chandler was greeted by Jenson as soon as he woke up. "Good morning, Chandler!"

Chandler was surprised. "Why are you up so early today?"

Jenson grinned. "It's because of you."

Confusion flickered across Chandler's face.

Jenson then produced a small, exquisite box out of nowhere. "Happy birthday, Chandler!"

Only then did Chandler remember—it was indeed his birthday today!

"Chandler, you have to see this. I took a long time choosing this birthday gift for you. I hope you like it." Jenson said with anticipation. Under his watchful eyes, Chandler opened the box to find a car key inside.

"This is the latest model of your favorite car brand. I managed to get it for you," Jenson beamed.

Chandler smiled as he was genuinely pleased. "Thanks."

Seeing Chandler smile, Jenson felt a weight being lifted off his chest. "As long as you're happy."

Soon after, Tyrone joined them. "Happy birthday, Chandler."

Jenson quickly interjected, "Where's your gift? You can't just come here empty-handed."

Tyrone smiled mysteriously. "Don't worry. The gift will be presented on time tonight."

Helen waved at him and walked into the school.

As Helen entered the classroom, she sensed an unusual atmosphere. The looks of her classmates were filled with curiosity, admiration, and envy.
