In the end, Abigail managed to bring all three kids along. They arrived at a fancy dessert shop and ordered one of everything on the menu.

As Abigail watched Sienna savor the treats, she let out a sigh of relief. "Nana, I treat you well, don't I?"

"Absolutely! I love you the most!" Sienna replied, not even looking up. She scooped a piece of cake and offered it to Ivy. "You should try some too!"

"So, Nana, can you keep this little secret for me?" Abigail finally asked, getting to the point.

"Of course!" Sienna grinned, clearly excited to negotiate. With all these delicious desserts around, she was more than willing to agree.

As for what would happen after the sweets were gone, well, that was anyone's guess.

Pleased with Sienna's response, Abigail turned her attention to Lincoln, smiling brightly at him.

Before she could say anything, Lincoln saw right through her intentions. "I'm afraid this little bit of dessert won't be enough to buy me off."

"You little brat. You don't even look at me, yet you somehow know what I'm thinking," Abigail shot back, frustration seeping into her voice as she narrowed her eyes. "Just say it. What do you want?"

"What I like doesn't come cheap," Lincoln replied, still focused on his tablet.

"Don't joke with me," Abigail retorted, confidently patting her wallet. "Look at this. I have plenty of money. There's nothing a kid could want that I can't buy."

Lincoln put away his tablet and turned to her with a mischievous grin. "You said it yourself."

Abigail felt a chill run down her spine, a sense of unease washing over her.

Half an hour later, they arrived at an upscale electronics mall, each carrying a bag of desserts.

Led by Lincoln, they headed straight for the central display area, where a single computer was showcased under a transparent glass case.

The mention of Taylor made Abigail anxious. She quickly grabbed his shirt and yanked him back. "You little rascal—how can you just walk away like that? I didn't say I wouldn't buy it!"

"I'm not forcing you, you know," Lincoln replied, a sly smile creeping across his face.

"Right, right, I'm doing this willingly," Abigail said, exasperated. She pulled out her card and handed it to the salesperson. "Go ahead and charge it; we'll take this one."

"Of course, ma'am. Please hold on while we pack it up for you."

"Thank you, Aunt Abigail," Lincoln chimed in, taking the opportunity to flatter her.

"That 'thank you' cost me way too much! Make sure you tell your mom about this and wait for her approval before you use it. Got it?" Abigail said, trying to assert herself one last time.

At that moment, Sienna piped up from nowhere, "Aunt Abigail, you're a scaredy-cat!"

As Abigail glanced down, Sienna tilted her head back and let out a loud burp.
