However, Chandler stood up. "Mr. Richard, today isn't convenient for me. I have some personal matters to attend to. We shall gather soon."

Joshua roughly understood what Chandler was implying. There was no chance between Chandler and Yoko. He was a straightforward person, so since he knew the outcome, he naturally didn't insist. "That's okay, Mr. Chandler. There's plenty of time for us to meet again."

Yoko stomped her foot anxiously. "Chandler, spend more time with me!"

But, Chandler withdrew his arm. "Ms. Richard, I have something to attend to. Please excuse me."

With that, he walked away, leaving the two siblings behind glancing at each other. Joshua asked, "Have you noticed that ever since Ms. Spencer came in, his gaze hardly left her?"

Yoko disagreed with his statement. "Joshua, are you out of your mind? That woman is so ugly. How could Chandler be interested in her? Don't tarnish Chandler's image with her."

Hearing Yoko's remark, Joshua didn't say much. However, from a man's perspective, he clearly felt that Chandler's gaze toward Helen was somewhat different.

But if Yoko heard this, she would be upset, so he didn't mention it and just said, "I see that Chandler's doesn't seem very interested in you. How about you find another target?"

"No. I believe Chandler is my perfect match. I must be with him. Joshua, no matter what, you must help me figure out a way to bring us together," insisted Yoko.

Joshua knew she had completely fallen for Chander. There was nothing he could do. As her older brother, he could only try his best to help.

After Helen was successfully brought back to the private room by Jasmine, she lost her mood to sing. Images of Chandler and Yoko together kept replaying in her mind, haunting her.

By the time the four of them finished singing, it was almost midnight.

Coming out of the karaoke building, Jasmine quickly asked, "Phishie, how are you and Helen getting back?"

Chandler raised an eyebrow and glanced at her through the rearview mirror.

Inexplicably, Helen felt a little guilty and explained, "Don't misunderstand. I was just asking casually. It's okay if you don't want to answer."

He withdrew his gaze and looked ahead, saying, "She's my junior, we met in college."

Helen responded with a hum and didn't pursue the matter further. She was completely unaware of the hint of jealousy in her heart when she asked that question.

"I have to thank you for tonight. If it wasn't for you, Joshua wouldn't have signed the contract so quickly. I didn't expect you to be so clever at a critical moment." Chandler's generous praise made her feel embarrassed.

"I just did it to cooperate with you. I never thought it would actually help," Helen replied shyly.
