Helen's autobiography was still in the works, but to keep the momentum going, she decided to release a novel she had completed abroad.

The book launch was proceeding smoothly, with Taylor hosting the event.

An hour before the launch, Helen arrived at the venue.

Taylor came out to greet her, entertaining Lincoln and Sienna while stealing glances toward the entrance.

Helen followed his gaze and asked, "What are you looking for?"

"Nothing," Taylor replied, feigning indifference as he shrugged. "But isn't it a bit odd that Abigail hasn't shown up for such a lively event?"

Since their last test drive, Taylor hadn't been able to get in touch with her. He assumed she had chosen to end their friendship and felt hesitant to reach out.

"You didn't know?" Helen replied. "Abigail left—she's back home now, getting ready for an arranged marriage and to take over her family's business."

"What? An arranged marriage? When did that happen?" Taylor asked, taken aback.

"The Fitzgerald family arranged the marriage from the beginning," Helen said thoughtfully. "But Abigail ran away to seek love. Now that she's chosen to go back, I suppose she's given up on any chance for something real."

Taylor fell silent, mulling over her words.

Just then, Jenson and Germaine walked over, their fingers intertwined.

Taylor stared at their hands for what felt like an eternity. When he finally looked up, he saw Jenson wearing a triumphant grin.

"You two?" Helen asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Isn't it the truth?"

"Alright then, let's settle this with a fight. One of us has to go down today!"

"Bring it on! I'm not afraid of you!"

With that, Taylor and Jenson started rolling up their sleeves.

"Are you guys trying to ruin the event?" Chandler's voice rang out, instantly silencing them.

Taylor quickly backtracked, grinning sheepishly. "Fine, I'll let it slide this time out of respect for my idol.

"Please, carry on. I'll go check on the logistics. My crew is completely scatterbrained; I can't take my eyes off them for a moment!"
