"You're just like a wild child. Be careful, Abigail!"

Dominic shook his head helplessly and turned to look at Aiden with concern. "With the way she is, she'll probably cause you a lot of trouble in the future."

"Abigail just loves to have fun; she still has a good head on her shoulders," Aiden replied politely.

"You know her better than I do, and I'm her father." Dominic was very pleased. "I trust you to take care of her. Why don't you stay for dinner tonight?"

"Thank you for your kind offer, but I'm busy with a lot of things at the company lately, and then there is the engagement banquet.

"I want to marry Abigail as soon as possible, so I'd prefer not to waste any time. I'm afraid I'll have to turn you down." Aiden lowered his head respectfully.

"It's fine. Since you have your own plans, then go ahead. Don't mind me," Dominic said lightly.

"Thank you for your understanding. I'll visit again tomorrow." Aiden nodded and then turned to leave.

At the same time, Taylor showed a photo at the gate of the manor, trying to get the security guard to let him in. "This is Ms. Fitzgerald, and this is me, right? This can prove that we're friends, so please let me in."

The security guard held his head high and answered arrogantly, "The photo is edited."

"You didn't even look at it. Why did you say that it's edited? I still have the original photo on my phone. If you don't believe me, we can find a place to verify it." Taylor was both angry and anxious.

"Do I need to look at it? I've seen plenty of overly confident guys like you trying to use fake photos to get close to Ms. Fitzgerald. You're so ugly; how could you possibly have a beautiful friend like Ms. Fitzgerald?"

Despite being a security guard, he was well aware of Abigail's confident demeanor and admired her greatly. He could be considered a fanboy of hers, and he disliked any man trying to get close to her.

Taylor was rendered speechless. The security guard was so annoying that Taylor wanted to hit him.

Taylor clenched his fists tight, but when he thought of Abigail, he still suppressed his anger and pleaded. "Buddy, please help me out. Just pass on a message for me. I can pay you ten thousand dollars, 100 thousand dollars, or even 500 thousand dollars."

As he spoke, a cream-colored antique car whizzed past him from behind.

Inside the car, Aiden caught a glimpse of the two people arguing in the distance. He glanced at them casually as he drove by, not paying much attention.

But a few seconds later, his body reacted instinctively, and he stepped on the brakes. Through the rearview mirror, he carefully observed them for half a minute before reversing the car slowly.

Taylor was still bargaining with the security guard. "Final offer, one million dollars. Buddy, please help me out."
