"I knew you came with bad intentions. There's no way you can bribe me!" The security guard wouldn't budge no matter what.

Taylor completely lost his patience. He reached into his pocket, wanting to try the drug he had gotten from Lincoln on the security guard.

Just as he was about to grab the drug, an antique car suddenly stopped behind him. The car door opened, and Aiden walked straight toward him.

"Taylor Xander?" Aiden called out his name.

Taylor took a step forward and stared at Aiden's face under the streetlight for a while. After recognizing Aiden, Taylor immediately became alert. "Aiden Gallagher?"

Before Taylor came, he had already investigated Aiden and knew a bit about his identity and appearance. It seemed the other party had done the same.

"Come with me," Aiden said.

"Why should I? Do I even know you?" Taylor was full of hostility.

"If you don't want to see Abigail again, you can stay here."

With that, Aiden went around the car and got into the driver's seat.

Taylor turned to look at the unyielding security guard and hesitated for a moment before getting into Aiden's car.

An hour later, Aiden brought him to a house in the suburbs and said, "You can stay here for now. I'll arrange for you both to meet later."

"Why are you so kind to me?" Taylor expressed his doubt.

"Can you give me the social media account where I can contact Abigail now?" Taylor asked, humbling himself.

"There's no use giving it to you either. Mr. Fitzgerald keeps a very tight watch on her. If he finds out she's in contact with outsiders, he might never let her out again.

"If you don't want to get her into trouble, you better not look for her again in the Fitzgerald residence. I'll bring her to see you within a week." With that, Aiden gave Taylor an indifferent glance and left.

As the sound of the engine grew fainter, Taylor finally couldn't help complaining. "He's only a few years older than me. Why did he act like he was that much older?

"A week is such a long time; who knows what you're up to? With my skills, I'm sure I can break into the Fitzgerald residence."

He took out the photo he had shown to the security guard earlier and gently touched Abigail's face in the photo. "I know you're angry, but how could you ignore me?"
