Two days later, after learning the news of Orson's death, Ricardo's mother couldn't take the blow and fainted on the spot. When she regained consciousness, she had lost her mind and fallen into a deep depression.

In order to give his mother a moment of rest, Ricardo had no choice but to inject her with a sedative. Only then did the Cook family regain some semblance of peace, but the peace seemed so gloomy.

Ricardo sat on the sofa, gazing at Orson's portrait from a distance, his eyes unconsciously reddening.

He just couldn't understand how the happy family, in the eyes of the outsiders from three days ago, would become shattered today. Even though life was unpredictable, why did it have to be them?

Right then, his phone buzzed in his pocket. Ricardo quickly composed himself to answer the incoming call. His mother had collapsed, so he had to hold the family together.

But just as he took out his phone, the person calling him hung up. He let out a heavy sigh and was about to throw his phone in frustration, when a text message suddenly popped out.

The text message contained a web address, but the sender's information was missing. He thought it was a spam message and wanted to close and delete it, but the screen suddenly froze. No matter how many times he tapped, there was no reaction.

He knew that the sender had used malicious software, and the only way to close it was to click the link. Despite knowing the risk of getting infected, somehow he still clicked on the webpage.

After a brief loading period, a surveillance video began to play automatically. It showed that Orson was hit and then run over by a car, his blood staining a large area of the road.

Shortly after, Jenson appeared and went over to check for Orson's breath before dragging the body away from the scene alone.

Without thinking much, he grabbed his phone and went out, speeding toward Jenson International Financial Corporation. After passing the last intersection, he saw from a distance Jenson and Germaine walk out from the building hand in hand.

He accelerated and rushed over. After getting out of the car, he threw a punch at Jenson's face and knocked him to the ground.

Before Jenson could react, Ricardo mounted Jenson and punched him again. "I'll kill you!" Ricardo struck continuously, and each punch was loaded with hatred.

Jenson raised his hands to block the punches and managed to turn the tables when Germaine pulled at Ricardo from behind.

Jenson grabbed Ricardo by the throat and pinned him to the ground, rendering Ricardo unable to move. "Are you done being crazy?'
