Jenson had never met Ricardo and wasn't aware of his identity. He was quite displeased that he was suddenly ambushed.

"No!" Ricardo roared ferociously. "You murderer, I saw it all. You hit my father with your car; you killed him!"

Jenson's expression froze. He quickly snapped out of it and figured out Ricardo's identity. "You're Orson's son?"

"What's wrong? Are you feeling guilty? Would a ruthless murderer like you be scared too?" Ricardo's face flushed red, looking as agitated as a frenzied beast.

Jenson was silent for a moment before saying, "I didn't kill him."

"Bullshit! I've seen the surveillance footage, and you still want to lie? The Newtons are all bad. You actually killed an honest and upright official in order to protect your wealth.

"You scums don't deserve to live in this world." Ricardo grew more agitated as he spoke, his eyes seemingly blazing with fire and full of endless energy.

"What you saw may not be the truth. You're deceived by the appearance, just like how you think your father was a good official," Jenson persuaded earnestly.

Although he didn't cause Orson's death, he did harm Orson's body. He should indeed feel apologetic toward Orson's family and humble himself.

Hearing this, Ricardo completely lost it and sprang up from the ground. He knocked Jenson down again before raining punches on him. "He's already dead, and you still slandered him. Are you even human?"

Jenson no longer fought back, finding it unnecessary to do so to someone younger than him.

Soon, the patrol officers arrived and took both of them back to the police station.

Based on Ricardo's testimony, the police reinvestigated the cause of Orson's death. However, neither the surveillance footage nor the final autopsy report showed that Jenson was involved.

"I did hit his father, and it's fair that I took several punches from him." Jenson treated it as a kind of penance. "Don't tell Chandler and the others about this when we meet up with them at home later."

Germaine was reluctant, but she still nodded and agreed. "Don't worry. I know what to do."

Meanwhile, in Miravell, Taylor stood up abruptly with the phone in his hand. "What did you say? You guys are coming to Miravell too?"

"Yes, we're going to cheer you on," Helen teased. "So, if you want to do anything, wait until we get there. With so many of us, we'll have better plans than you on your own."

"I got it." Taylor hung up grumpily and turned to look at the equipment on the couch with a frown.
