Helen understood what Mary was trying to say and tried to appease her. "Relax, Ms. Mary! I'll show up with my boyfriend next time!"

Mary finally smiled after hearing Helen's reassuring words. "Then I guess I'll just wait for the good news."

The staff finished picking the grapes and carried the baskets back into the house.

Helen continued, "I'm leaving tomorrow, Ms. Mary. I don't know when I will be coming back."

Mary's cheerful expression immediately disappeared. "You just came back and you're already leaving? Why not stay here for a few more days?"

Helen apologized. "I still have matters to attend to, so I can't stay here for long. I promise to stay longer with you and Mr. Peter next time!"

Mary was left in a bad mood. She turned to Helen and said, "Helen, this manor is your property at the end of the day. Mr. Peter and I are just temporarily looking after it for you. Everything here will fall into your hands one day."

Helen put her arm around Mary's shoulder. "I know, and I'm really grateful for what you and Mr. Peter have been doing for the manor all these years. But I'd still like to ask you to take care of it for a while."
