Taylor's eyes lit up as he grabbed the sandwich and took a big bite.

As he chewed happily, he couldn't help but praise Lincoln, "You're the best, Linc. Thanks for having my back. All the effort I've put into looking out for you is finally paying off."

"Anytime, Uncle Taylor," Lincoln said, his eyes narrowing mischievously. "Just remember to wire a million dollars to the same account as last time. That should cover it."

"What—" Taylor choked on his food, spraying crumbs everywhere. "A million? Why don't you just rob a bank while you're at it?"

He swiftly pushed the sandwich back toward Lincoln. "I want a refund!"

Since it was already covered in Taylor's saliva, he'd happily take it back if Lincoln didn't want it.

"Well, you've already taken a bite, so there's no backing out now," Lincoln said.

"That's not my problem," Taylor shot back, shamelessly playing along. "I'm not giving you the money, but if you're going to refuse the sandwich, I guess I could reluctantly take it off your hands."

Unfazed, Lincoln adjusted his expression and mimicked Taylor's drunken antics. "Abigail, where are you? Abigail, I miss you so much, Abi—"

"Lincoln, you have no integrity!" Taylor fumed, his face turning red. "I already paid for that video. You can't use it to blackmail me!"

"Well, you started it by picking on a kid," Lincoln said smugly.

"I—" Taylor was left speechless, struggling to come up with a response. "Fine, fine, I'll pay! Damn, I must've owed you in a past life or something!" he muttered, finally giving in.

After transferring the money, Taylor took another bite of the same sandwich, his expression darkening.

"A million bucks for one sandwich, huh? What a ripoff! You're worse than a scam artist!" he grumbled.

"You should be grateful," Chandler remarked nonchalantly. "He could've just taken the money and run. Instead, he even threw in a sandwich."

Tiana's nickname was Tia, a name Seth had always affectionately used for her in the past.

"Please don't call me that," Tiana replied coldly. "You may not be embarrassed, but I still am."

With several waitstaff observing the exchange, Seth felt a bit flustered, and the atmosphere became awkward for a moment.

"Let's sit down first, shall we?" Germaine suggested, helping to ease the tension.

The three of them then sat around the table, with Tiana in the center.

The dishes were swiftly brought out—an array of meticulously prepared Cholonese delicacies, each one a feast for both the eyes and the senses.

"Tia, this is your favorite gourmet cheesecake. I had the chef flown in from Grand Cathay just to make it. Please, try it," Seth said, offering her a serving with a smile.
