"You're the one who goes back on your word and breaks your promises!" Zac yelled, his fury apparent in every word.

"And what about you?" Jenson stepped forward, listing his accusations. "You ordered someone to take my life just after 9:00 pm. What kind of trust can there be with someone like you?

"I used to believe your actions were fueled by past hatred, but after yesterday, I saw the truth—you're a heartless monster who sees human life as disposable. You can easily kill your own blood without hesitation.

"If there's a line you won't cross, I'm sure you'd break it too. The consequences of your actions are your own doing. Don't try to blame anyone else."

"But you brought this upon yourselves!" Zac shot back. "You could have kept your distance from Chandler, but instead, every one of you chose to stand by him. By supporting him, you're opposing me. So why shouldn't I strike first?"

To Zac, the entire Newton family was now nothing more than his enemy.

"Are you out of your mind?" Jenson shouted. "Chandler and I are brothers! Who else would stand by him if not me?

"Look around—every family sticks together, working for the greater good. But you? You're always at war with yourself, trapped in your own thoughts. If you keep this up, you'll only destroy yourself in the end."

Jenson's heart sank with deep sorrow. As he looked at Zac, all he felt was the weight of betrayal, and any lingering hope or expectation vanished completely.

"You're finally speaking your truth, huh?" Zac sneered, his bloodshot eyes flashing with malice as he stared at Chandler. "You've wanted me dead all along, haven't you? Go ahead—kill me if you have the guts. But let me tell you this, Chandler—as long as I'm alive, none of you will ever know peace."

With that, Zac threw a pointed glance at Kingsley in the corner.

Meanwhile, Kingsley remained oblivious, his head bowed.

Abigail, however, noticed the subtle shift in Zac's gaze. The two shared no direct connection, so what was with the exchange of looks? Could it be that Zac had some interest in that rogue?

She stroked her chin thoughtfully, nodding to herself. Kingsley's face was so striking that even women might feel insecure in comparison. It wasn't entirely impossible that Zac could have developed some sort of interest in him.

Jenson let out a long sigh, sinking back into the couch. His fist clenched in frustration, and he slammed the armrest with a heavy thud. "What the hell are we supposed to do with Zac?" he muttered.

Germaine stepped closer, her hands resting gently on his shoulders. She understood the weight of his feelings—he still held on to a faint hope that Zac might change and find redemption.

"Maybe we could try hypnosis?" Germaine suggested, thinking on her feet. "If we can help Zac forget those painful memories, he might have a chance at a better life."

"It's not that simple," Helen replied. "Zac was raised in hatred. If you take that away, what's left? He'd just be an empty shell."

"Regardless, he's better off being a fool than a mad dog, constantly attacking anyone in his path!" Jenson retorted, frustration thick in his voice.

"Well, we won't know unless we try. We've been running around in circles for days, and it's about time someone else stepped in to help," Abigail said, her gaze deliberately shifting to Kingsley.

"So, Kingsley," Helen asked, "do you think Germaine's suggestion could work?"
