"I can't go on anymore." Salome stopped and leaned on a nearby railing. "Why is it so far away? I can't walk anymore."

"Far?" Lucy looked at the 20 to 30 steps behind her and shrugged helplessly. "Salome, you really need to exercise more. Take your time. I'll go up first and get the tent and everything ready."

Lucy thought Salome lacked stamina, so after saying that, she left Salome behind and went ahead.

There were many tourists coming to see the meteor shower, and people could be seen at intervals along the mountain path. Thus, there was no need to worry that Salome would encounter any danger.

Lucy had been working out regularly, and she disappeared from sight in no time after getting rid of Salome.

After resting for a while, Salome got up to catch up with Lucy. But as soon as she stood up, her stomach churned, and she instantly retched.

She couldn't carry on anymore. Her life was more important, so she decided to head back and rest for a while. Enduring the discomfort, she avoided the crowd heading up the mountain and staggered toward the hotel.

In the elevator, the discomfort intensified, and it felt as though her body was burning from her bones to every inch of her skin. Her mind grew hazy, and she began to tug at her clothes, trying to let some air inside to cool down.

The elevator doors opened on the second floor. With her remaining consciousness, she leaned against the wall and walked out. However, she stumbled at the elevator doors and lost her balance, falling forward onto the man who was about to enter the elevator.

"Give me water; I feel so hot." Salome felt unbearably thirsty and murmured unconsciously. Suddenly, the familiar perfume scent on the man brought a flicker of clarity to her mind. "Is that you, Mr. Jenson?"

As she spoke, her whole body was pressed against the man, and her delicate hands wandered restlessly over his lower body.

The man was silent for a moment. After hearing Jenson's name, he carried her into room 206.

Taylor laughed in response.

Sienna spread out her arms to block the entrance of the tent and scrunched her nose angrily, causing everyone to laugh out loud.

She then quickly realized that she had been teased. Rolling her eyes, she ran over to hug Abigail's thigh and complain. "Aunt Abigail, Uncle Taylor bullied me!"

Abigail crouched down to help Sienna fix her hair and suggested, "How about we make Uncle Taylor sleep on the floor tonight?"

"Okay!"
