Since Helen first learned about jade gambling with Chandler, she couldn't stop thinking about it. Now that Chandler mentioned it again, she saw it as a great learning opportunity.

"Where is it?" she asked.

Upon receiving Helen's inquiry, Chandler promptly sent her the coordinates. "How about we meet there at ten tomorrow morning?"

Helen responded with an "okay" emoji.

After closing his laptop, Chandler stretched and looked out at the night sky full of stars. Whenever he paused, he found himself thinking of Helen. Seeing her happy and laughing with Jenson made him feel an unexpected sense of jealousy.

Chandler tried to shake off these thoughts. He realized he needed to find more things to occupy his time.

The next day, Helen left for school with Jenson but was preoccupied with the thought of checking out the jade at 10:00 am. She managed to get a leave from school by giving the teacher an excuse.

Gerard looked at her seriously and said, "Even though you're doing well, taking leaves like this isn't good. You need to focus more on your studies."

Helen playfully assured, "I know, Mr. Ziegler. I'll be more careful."

Gerard had high hopes for Helen but could only feel anxious about her lack of seriousness. After a moment's thought, he said, "This will be the final leave I approve for you this term."

Helen agreed she wouldn't need any more leave for the rest of the term.

"Let's get out," he said.

Helen unbuckled her seatbelt and stepped out to look around. The area was quiet, with few passersby.

"Let's go in," Chandler said as he walked ahead. Helen pointed at the estate, asking, "Here?"

Chandler hummed in affirmation and led the way inside. Despite her confusion, Helen followed as she trusted him implicitly.

The estate was vast, with a pond in the front courtyard. They followed the walkway beside the pond to the end, finally reaching the main hall.
